Update
Dear Parents,
Further to our conversations today I am now in a position to update you;
Four members of staff have tested positive, three of which work in the baby room, the other member of staff is our cook.
I have spoke to the care inspectorate, test and protect and public health Scotland at length and been given the following advice.
- children do not require to have a coronavirus test unless they have symptoms
- The nursery must remain closed for 14 days.
- All children who have attended the nursery between 29th September and 2nd October must isolate for 14 days.
- Parents are not required to isolate as you have not been in the building.
- All staff must self isolate for 14 days from their last day in the nursery.
Public health Scotland have requested the name of every child this applies to , the name of their parent contact and an email address which I have provided, They will email everyone with this information.
As you can imagine we are devastated , I have been assured we have everything in place and have taken the necessary steps to contain this outbreak.
We have had a deep clean done in the nursery( see attached) .
I will keep everyone informed of any further developments, if anyone develops any symptoms you must get tested and inform us. I am providing the facts tonight and will be in touch in the coming days with updates.
My email address is info@thestationhousenursery.co.uk
my Personal mobile number is 07917625510 if anyone wants to speak to me please don’t hesitate to call me.
Thank You
Lynne
