Easter Fun Week!

Together We Can and We Will – Develop an awareness of the importance of festivals and special events

We have been busy bee’s this week in platform 2! This week seen us taking part in lots of fun Easter activities.

We have been working on our lovely Easter cards throughout the week, we have been giving the children a choice of what colour of card they would like to use and whether they would like to make a chick with their hand prints or a bunny with their feet.

On Wednesday we made yummy cakes using melted chocolate and crushed shreddies. Using the spoon, the children mixed and poured their mixture into the cupcake case which they later decorated with sprinkles and Easter animals! The children practiced good hygiene before and after making the cakes.

 

 

 

Today (Thursday) we took the children a walk to the park to take part in an Easter egg hunt! The children were all so excited when they heard that the Easter Bunny had visited and left them chocolate eggs! They all worked together, exploring the park and found all of the hidden yummy eggs!
