Nursery Opening Times
The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am till 6.00pm. Morning sessions are from 8.00am till 1.00pm. Afternoon sessions are from 1.00pm till 6.00pm.

The nursery will close on bank holidays and two weeks over Christmas and New Year.

The nursery is registered for 32 children; we cater for the needs of children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Fees are payable monthly in advance. We require a month's notice of your child leaving the nursery.

If your child becomes ill while at nursery we will try to contact the parents by telephone. If this is not possible we will try the emergency contacts you have provided. In the event of an emergency your child will be taken to accident and emergency at the nearest hospital.

Accidents do happen; these will be dealt with by a trained first aider and a report written in the accident book for your signature at collection time.

We can only administer prescribed medicine, in it’s original container. You must fill in an administration of medicine consent form, stating the dose required and the time to be given. We are unable to give the first dose of medication to the child in case of adverse reaction.

Please make sure your child wears comfortable, suitable clothes to nursery, aprons will be provided for messy activities. You will also be required to provide indoor shoes to be left in nursery.

Dietary Requirements
We will provide a healthy balanced diet and healthy snacks, menus will be provided in advance on a weekly basis. If your child has special dietary requirements or any known allergies it is your responsibility to inform us.

Child Protection
The nursery acknowledges sole responsibility for vetting of all staff. As a nursery we have responsibility to the children in our care. In relation to any child protection issues we ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Policies & Procedures
We acknowledge that our policies and procedures are fundamental to ensuring we maintain the highest standards at all times. They will always be openly available to parents. They include equal opportunities, child protection, health and safety, promoting positive behaviour and many more.

We have a secure door entry system in operation, please do not open the door to anyone, and make sure you close the two doors behind you. Also in the interests of security please inform us of any changes in the usual collection of a child. Children will not be allowed to leave with an adult unknown to staff otherwise.

Children will only be allowed to participate in an organised outing if you have filled in a written consent form.

In the event of the fire alarm sounding, please leave the building by the nearest exit quickly and quietly. The muster point is in the front garden. In the event of a complete evacuation we have prior arrangements to take the children to the Cambuslang Institute.
